One of the benefits of membership in the Alliance for Children and Families is the availability of a comprehensve Fund Development Training Manual. Originally developed by the members of the Alliance's Resource Development Services Advisory Commitee, the manual is currently being updated. However, its value to members remains strong, and during the updating process Alliance members can download the manual's exisiting modules as PDFs.
The manual was created to meet the specific needs of child- and family-serving nonprofit human service and economic enpowerment agencies and organizations throughout North America as a means for building their philantrophic capacity. Below is a list of the modules. All are linked to the downloadable PDF. Due to large file sizes, users without a Broadband connection may have difficulty opening certain documents. File sizes are provided to assist you. If you have problems downloading any of the PDFs, contact Susan Skibba, development associate, to order the manual on CD.
